The girls of the 1st Charleville Girl Guides have been participating in the #FreeBeingMe project to learn that body confidence and self-esteem come from valuing their bodies, standing up to social pressures, and supporting others to be more body confident. The girls have made cardboard cut outs of themselves and added positive body image and self esteem messages. They are then going to display them at the local schools to help spread the word to others in the community.

This badge is one of the three highest awards achievable by Girl Guides, is named after our founder Lord Baden-Powell, and requires girls to complete 12 significant challenges across the areas of Guiding Traditions, World Guiding, Service, Patrol System, Outdoors and Promise and Law. Congratulations to our latest Junior BP recipients and we look forward to watching you achieve your BP awards in the future.
Last night five girls from 1st Charleville Girl Guides joined three Charleville Scouts to play a small part in the Charleville Theatre Group's Community Pantomime - Cinderella. The girls all said they had an amazing time and so much fun. We thanks the Theatre Group, especially the Director Karen, for inviting and allowing us to be part of this fabulous event.
