Charleville Guides raised just under $300 - BRAVO girls!
The Charleville Guides undertook a walk-a-thon to help raise money for the Queensland Country Women's Association's Public Rural Crisis Fund. The money raised will be used to assist our sisters and their families in rural and remote areas that are 'doing it tough' on the land due to drought, flood and fires. Guides walked 5.6 kilometres each along the Warrego River Walk in the two hour time limit on a lovely day with wonderful views.

The Charleville Guides joined the International event of JOTI (Jamboree on the Internet) communicating with a range of Guides and Scouts from across the world using chatrooms. As part of the event the girls had a sleepover with a campfire, World Centre games and writing songs about Guiding. As part of their Air badge, the Charleville Girl Guides were lucky enough to experience a visit from the RAAF Roulette Flying team. The girls learnt about the planes, being pilots and the RAAF in general.
